AFC Bournemouth Community Outreach
Dorset Council’s Youth Worker has arranged for Bournemouth

football club’s community outreach team to engage with young
people in Swanage through football, boxing and games. This is
specifically aimed at young people aged 14-18 as there is a gap in
provision for this age range in Swanage. Although The Wave is not
directly involved in this, we are promoting it because it provides an
opportunity for the young people to grow and discover something
new about themselves.

Prayer Points Summary

Pray for the discussions that took place during the 15 July
within the different congregations, that Christ can lead His
Church in reaching the next generation.

Pray for the community events The Wave Youth Team is
involved with, that the new relationships with the children and
young people that are being established can help the younger
generations discover the reality of Jesus.

Pray for the Wave Team’s interactions with other youth leaders
who are providing services for children and young people, that
great working relationships can be established.

Pray for The Wave Youth Team as they prepare themselves for
the new academic year.

A personal note:
An exciting life event is happening this month: Hannah is getting
married! Please pray for Hannah and Ryan as they embark on a
new adventure together and that God will bless their marriage as
they forge a life together in Him.
