Mock Moussaka ~ Maureen Marriott


        Ingredients:
        2 lb potatoes peeled and sliced thickly.  Boil until cooked
        1 chopped onion
        2 sticks of celery
        1 tin of tomatoes chopped
        12 oz of cooked lamb


        Method:
        à     cook onion, celery and tomatoes for 10 mins until soft.
        à     add 12 oz of cooked lamb (a good way to use up  left- over
              meat from Lamb Joint at weekend).
        à     add 1 teaspoon of dried mixed herbs, salt and pepper.
        à     put sliced potatoes around casserole dish and make a hole in
              the centre.
        à     fill with tomato and lamb mixture                              Starters | Soups | Main Meals | Desserts | Cakes |Biscuits, etc
        à     make ¼ pint to ½ a pint of white sauce
        à     add 2 oz  grated cheese to this and season
        à     pour over top of mixture in casserole.
        à     bake 175-180 c for 30 minutes.
