Link The Place of

Visiting Welcome

John and Anne have worked as volunteers at
“The Place of Welcome”
for many years and it has been very rewarding and
stimulating. They have gained many new friends and also been
greatly encouraged by the difference it makes in people’s lives.

There is also lots of laughter to enjoy!

“The Place of Welcome” offers free hot drinks, biscuits, cakes
and conversation and activities to everyone who visits.

It is open each Tuesday and Thursday morning at
103 High Street, Swanage BH19 2LZ

“Link Visiting” offers regular home visits to older isolated people
in Swanage and area.

The two groups support each other in offering vital help to the
community but the volunteers also gain.

Working together and making new friendships can have a positive
effect on everyone’s life.

Sadly, because of Covid and also various departures and
‘old age’ both groups are now looking for new volunteers.

CAN YOU HELP BY VOLUNTEERING,
for say, ONCE A MONTH ?
