Besom in Purbeck

Dear Friends

I just wanted to say how thrilled we (the Besom Team) are to
know that you are going to support us again for this coming year
in your fundraising activities. We already get regular support from
many members of our congregation by way of furniture, bedding,
kitchen items and beautiful crochet blankets. These items often do
not get as far as the warehouse as often we deliver straight to
those who need them.

However, we do need financial support as we could not undertake
the work we do without a van and a warehouse. Although we pay
a ridiculously low rent for the warehouse, we still need to fulfil our
obligations and our van needs to be constantly maintained.
Both Paul and I are very blessed to be able to support such a
venture even though it is exhausting at times, but it is a real
privilege to support so many people at a time of crisis in their lives,
both those that are being accommodated and those who are
donating goods for whatever reason.
God Bless you all for your generosity and your concern for those
in need.
