❖ How is a normal day at the Internship?
__________________________________________
My office was at BKC. I used to start along with my fellow
GENERAL INFORMATION interns around 7-7:15am. The commute used to take about
45 mins. After breakfast at office I would get down to work
Batch: PGDIM 25 from 8:30 – 8:45am. My manager used to arrive at 9:30am. I
used to outline my work for the day and frame questions that
BTech: SSN College of I needed clarifications on till he arrived. Once he arrived, I
would clear my doubts and fix meetings with him, and others
Engineering based on needs. I would do my work with 1 or 2 coffee breaks
in between. I used to go for lunch with my fellow interns who
Stream: ECE
Work Ex: Mu Sigma
were on the same floor at about 1:30pm. Post lunch I would either meet my guide or others from whom I had to
gather information. I would also show my work up until then in the post lunch meetings. Post the meetings I
would work on the new data/ information received and improvements/ changes suggested with a coffee break
in between. Most of the interns were directed to leave by 5-5:30pm. My day would end at 5pm - 5:15pm max as
my manager had especially directed me not to stay beyond 5:30pm.
❖ What are the challenges faced during Internship?
The main challenge was availability of people. As everyone is busy with their day to day tasks it is difficult to get
their time. Sometimes needs do arise for clarifications from certain people who are either on leave or working
in the field. Coordinating the availability of various people for various information need was difficult.
