❖ What did you do right and what did you do wrong?
In general, it is very essential to understand the scope of work very clearly in the initial phase of project. This
phase went well in my case, I could prepare sound plan for end to end project execution. I was also able to get
clarity on expectations from the project at right time. I took ownership of the project and had a sound hold
throughout.
I developed certain tools for automation in data analysis and ease in decision making as a part of my project.
Those are dynamic tools and being used in organisation even today. But initially, I couldn’t notice the scalability
of the project and over the period volume of data kept increasing, which consecutively resulted in higher
runtime and tools started to get stuck. Later I gave extra efforts to resolve the issue and it started working
perfectly.
❖ Things to keep in mind in the internship
Good food and proper sleep are very much essential for the duration of 2 months. It is required to have clarity
upon micro details of the project and roadmap to be followed. It is a standard practise to adhere with the
timelines, keeping a strong track of work and having a holistic view of project in mind.
❖ What pre-internship preparation do you suggest for juniors?
Pre-Internship preparation varies for company to company, it is a good idea to connect with respective seniors
who interned in the same company to understand last year’s project. An overview of different tools and
software’s also give an edge to preparation. The most important part is to be calm, composed and energetic
during the project duration.
❖ Anything else you would like to add
There is a high probability that almost all the projects have multiple stakeholders and while working on project,
you need to interact a lot with so many people. So, to connect quickly, you should be able to drive the
conversation and for that you should have some interesting stories.
All the very best!!
