Abstract. Agriculture is the basic industry in China, and the sustainable development of
agriculture is of great significance to the stability of economic growth. As a pillar industry in
rural industry, rural tourism has become an important link in the sustainable development of
agriculture because of its own advantages. It is also an important way to promote employment,
solve rural poverty alleviation, optimize industrial structure and inherit rural culture. However,
the recent outbreak of the new crown has a great impact on the rural tourism industry in our
country in the short term, and it also shows the sensitivity and vulnerability of the rural tourism
industry, but in the long run, it is an opportunity for the transformation and upgrading of the
rural tourism industry. The purpose of this paper is to explore the related problems of how to
take the road of sustainable development of rural tourism under the influence of epidemic
situation.
