Abstract. This study aims to analyze some related factors to the role of digital technology in assisted groups of
coffee traders (collectors) to support organic coffee quality system in Regency of Central Aceh. The study
population is members of coffee trader involved in counseling through digital technology. Sampling is
performed using quota sampling method. The results found that the performance of digital technology-based
agricultural extension carried out by collectors or coffee traders in Central Aceh was still low. Factors that have
moderate relationship with the role of digital technology in agricultural extension activities is the
implementation and participation of members of groups in the extension system. Factors that have a low
relationship are the level of understanding of digital technology material, presence and skills. Members of
coffee traders' assisted groups are less active in the groups. Therefore, Regency of Central Aceh needs to
improve digital technology services as extension means, so that coffee farmers participate actively in farmer
groups, and digital technology-based extension can be understood and implemented in their coffee plantation
businesses.
