Introduction to Inside the earth was done with a PPT and an activity on the same was conducted
using a boiled egg. Students also drew the rock cycle and inside the earth and labelled the same.

LO : To know the francophone world, quiz on French culture, Discovering Paris and its
surroundings, ca me passion: Students were able to talk about their passion ça change. They can

use past tense using imparfait, and talk about famous personalities.
Grade 8

English Math

LO: To use the most appropriate approach to comprehend a piece of discursive and informative
text.
Learners were given a chance to delve into the world of ‘Art, design and fashion’ where they

analysed the various manifestations of art in everyday life and those that existed BCE. This was
done in the context of understanding discursive writing and the characteristics of informative
texts. The detailed practise activities were helpful in polishing the LSRW, vocabulary and

grammar skills.
Math

LO: Constructing the expressions, factorising and expanding the expressions.
Learners have learnt constructing the expressions from the given statements, factorising algebraic
expression by single brackets and by grouping. They attempted a quiz on the same to test their
understanding. Code breaker- group activity was conducted to encourage the learners to work as

a team and learn the concept through peer learning.
