L.No:8 Sources of history and timelines (Recap)
LO: Know the term sources of history, Understand the timeline and Gregorian calendar.
Recap of sources of history with a PPT and at the end of the chapter quizzes were conducted to
check the understanding.
L. No. 1 Our Universe
LO: Know the 8 planets- their order and the names.
They will be familiar with new words, such as solar system, planets, cluster, satellite.
Introduction to Our universe with a PPT and students drew the solar system on an A-4 sheet.
Introduction to rotation with animated video and hands on activity conducted on rotation using a
globe and a torch.

LO: Describe a given picture in their own words.
Describing something would always require a better understanding over the concept/thing being
described. Learners from grade 3 grabbed their opportunity to work on this with an activity on
describing a picture.
ICT

Learners created their own digital book by adding backgrounds, characters, text and voice to each
page. (Story Jumper: Creating a digital book online)
Learners could understand the working of the computer and characteristics of the major parts of
a computer.
Grade 4

English

The long summer break couldn’t dent the learners’ appetite for learning, instead they looked even
hungrier. With renewed enthusiasm the learners approached the features of the story and
expressed their creativity. Their colourful charts of verbs and tenses made the grammar lesson
even more vibrant and cheerful.
Math
Math puzzles were given as starters before teaching the concept every day to the learners to
encourage them to think logically, reason and solve the problems.
