The learners were taught how to read stories, and cursive handwriting was emphasized during
writing sessions. They have learnt concepts like; verbs, adjectives, punctuation, suffixes, prefixes
and writing words/sentences in alphabetical order.
Math

In the month of June we brushed up on a few topics like compliments, place values, ordinal
numbers, estimation and gave some practice problems. Learners were introduced to a new topic
i.e., addition and subtraction of sentences and facts using the counters, number line and part-part-
whole models with some practice problems to explore and understand the concept clearly.
Science
This month, we have covered habitats of animals and plants, where learners explored various
climatic conditions and did the comparison of different habitats. The learners were asked to draw
a habitat for frogs. They were also encouraged to prepare a project on the habitat of a fish.
