LO- Read and analyse the elements of a story, mainly, setting and characters.
June has been a month filled with learning as the learners explored various concepts related to
story writing. They enjoyed the sessions on setting, character and grammatical concepts such as
nouns and adjectives. They extended the joy of learning by doing a role play of the characters in
the story- ‘Charlie and the Chocolate factory’ by Roald Dahl.

Math
LO: Multiply by single digit numbers.
The learners appreciated and admired that multiplication is repeated addition and practiced it to
find the product by grid method and using place value chart.
Science

LO: Necessary conditions for the growth of plants.
The learners investigated how sunlight, air, temperature and water are important for the growth
of the plant. They conducted fair tests by altering the amount of light received by the plant and
how it affected the growth. The students started the hypothesis in the form of a diagram.
