Cognitive Splash activities for students included Talk the Picture, Thoughtful Maestros and

Mindful Melody. These activities were to enhance the skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and

Writing in the learners. The energizers on vocabulary building set the tone for a great skill
building session.

Science

LO: Describe gravity as a force of attraction between any two objects and describe how the size

of the force is related to the masses of the objects.
The students of grade 7 differentiated between mass and weight and performed simple online

simulation to enrich their knowledge. They completed the worksheet on the same.

Math

The learners had to deduct a formula of finding the area of a parallelogram and a trapezium using
the knowledge of the area of a rectangle. First a brainstorming session was held wherein the
learners could come up with different possibilities and alternate solutions. They tried their best to
produce a proof for their argument. Later, visual proofs were provided by the teacher for further
clarity.
ICT

Learners enjoyed creating the presentation using the Prezi-zooming in and out to view various
frames.
Learners can perform the arithmetic operations on binary numbers.
Social
LO: Describe the structure of the interior of earth, Classification of rocks, Understand the rock

cycle.
