        LO: The learners identified the different states of matter by performing simple experiments where
        they produced carbon dioxide using soda bicarbonate and vinegar. The learners further learnt how
        to separate mixtures using simple physical methods and prepared a DIY - filter.
        Social
        LO: Understand the Earth - its surface and movement, Continents and Oceans
        The  learners  enhanced  and  explored  their  knowledge  about  the  movements  of  the  earth  and
        reflected the same with a roleplay. They also explained its importance and also causes. They
        applied their thinking skills and also explained “What would happen if the earth didn't move”.
        The learners also enhanced and explored their knowledge about the Continents and Oceans and
        reflected their understanding by presenting the same with a song. They also learnt an easy method
        to remember the names of Continents and Oceans with the help of Mnemonics activity. They
        explored landforms like Mountains, Oceans, Seas, Hills, Valley, Coast, Island, Peninsula. They
        presented their understanding by making a model on the same.

        LO: Picture description
        Describing something would always require a better understanding over the concept or thing
        being described. Learners from Grade -3 grabbed their opportunity to work on this with an activity
        on describing a picture.
        French
        LO:  Grade  3  learners  exercised  listening  activities  related  to  pronunciation  of  numbers  and
        completed a dialogue from the given clues in French from live worksheets.

        LO: Understand the features of a book introduction, identify key words and phrases in a sentence,
        identify present, past and future tense, distinguish fact and opinion.
        Learners identified key words and phrases to reflect upon the main ideas in sentences. They also
        developed their understanding of tenses through exercising the past, present and future tenses in
