LO: 1. Learners explore story settings, sentence openings, figurative language in character
descriptions and how a writer combines techniques for effect
2. Learners perform in groups, create voices for characters, comment on figurative language and
discuss story structures. They discuss a story ending, consider cultural beliefs and express a
personal response.
Science
Chemistry: LO: water cycle and Identify the difference between elements, compounds and
mixtures.
The learners were able to draw the diagram of the water cycle and explain the different processes
involved in the water cycle. They were able to identify differences between elements, compounds
and mixtures.
Physics: LO: The learners examined the factors affecting the free fall of an object through
simulation, presented their solar system storyboard and identified the transfer of energy from one
form to another. The learners explored the simulation and understood the cause for tide formation.
Social
LO: Know about the medieval world and Democracy and the Pillars of democracy
The learners enhanced and explored their knowledge about the medieval world. They applied
their knowledge and innovatively presented their learning with a hands-on activity on catapult.
They also presented their understanding on “Kinds of the Medieval period” with a PPT.
The Learners also enhanced their learning on Democracy and the Pillars of democracy. They also
discussed and explained the case study on the caste system.
French
LO: Learning the names of the countries in French.
Learners from Grade 7 complete an online quiz based on the Names of Countries in French.

LO: Poster making
learners learnt about the importance of trees. They made a poster to spread awareness in the
society.
