Special Assemblies World Environment Day
The Cambridge wing of DPS Nacharam conducted a Special Assembly on the occasion of World Environment Day.
Members of the Student Council took the initiative and participated in this virtual celebration. The theme of this
year’s celebration was ‘ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION’, where the emphasis was laid upon conserving our ecosystem and
caring for our environment.
The students of the middle school penned a few acrostic poems on the words ECOSYSTEM AND ENVIRONMENT.
Much to the delight of the young poets, they were highly applauded by the gathering.
A quiz conducted by the students signified the fact that our survival truly depends on nature. A few students, the
Green Crusaders, accentuated the importance of preserving our natural resources in the form of a video. Colourful
posters were made and displayed by them.
An oath was taken on this auspicious day by the students and the staff of The DPS pledging to do their part towards
safeguarding our planet.
