c. Select to start with the Frontal column if possible. If you start with the Lateral column, keep in
mind you may have to remove the guide band roller bracket at one end. The Lateral column
does not always for well with the CTT unless you remove this bracket.
d. Carefully slide the CTT from one end into the resting column until you reach the proper
position where the CTT carriage and its support bracket lines up with the column hardware. –
(figure 3, 4)
e. With the help of a power drill, lower the CCT carriage and its support bracket into position and
attach the hardware joining the column to the CTT. – (figure 5, 6) The required hardware is
usually attached to the CTT frame.
f. Keep in mind that you may have to relocate the motor gear box assembly attached to the side
of the column in order to fit the CTT properly.
g. Once the CTT and the column are securely attached, carefully lift the carriage (now attached
to the column) to clear the column from the wooden skid.
h. The column should be ready for transport now
