EOS 90396-A-PHY-0003-Columns assembly

IMPORTANT: Tighten and torque one column first following TABLE 1 but DO
NOT tighten the second one yet.
You need to complete the “Centering Position Bars” procedure to the
column that has not been bolted down yet.

TABLE 1

STEP 1

Check level using inclinometers and adjust levelling bolts if
necessary - Requires 17mm key

Follow this cross-tightening sequence described below
Required criteria = < 0.02 mm

You will need two separate torque wrenches for this

STEP 2 - TORQUE 50Nm

2 Tighten bolt position 2 to 50 Nm and check column level

3 Tighten bolt position 3 to 50 Nm and check column level

4 Tighten bolt position 4 to 50 Nm and check column level

5 Tighten bolt position 5 to 50 Nm and check column level

STEP 3 - TORQUE 100 Nm

6 Tighten bolt position 6 to 100 Nm and check column level

7 Tighten bolt position 7 to 100 Nm and check column level

8 Tighten bolt position 8 to 100 Nm and check column level

9 Tighten bolt position 9 to 100 Nm and check column level

STEP 4 - TORQUE 150 Nm

10 Tighten bolt position 10 to 150 Nm and check column level

11 Tighten bolt position 11 to 150 Nm and check column level

12 Tighten bolt position 12 to 150 Nm and check column level

13 Tighten bolt position 13 to 150 Nm and check column level
