o. Slowly start lowering the column on top of the Nivell plate trying your best to lineup the holes.
p. Use the two centering pins from the Nivell positioning tool to make sure the column is well
centered on its Nivell plate
q. Once you are confident the column is safely resting on the nivell, Locate the X4 (M20X45)
bolts required to attach the column to the Nivell and hand-tighten them in place but do not
torque them yet.
r. Carefully detach and remove the CTT.
s. For safety purposes, make sure nobody leans or places anything against the column at this
stage.
t. Repeat the exact same procedure starting at step 7 with the second column.
IMPORTANT: When attaching the CTT to the Lateral column, you may need to
temporarily remove the bracket that holds the guide band (roller) at one end of the
column as it tends to interfere with the CTT.
