They wished each other and shook hands. “Have a great weekend Dan” Ron said as Dan

walked out.

Once in the car to go home Dan’s thoughts moved to Tom and he wondered about the

morning incident.

‘Did I waste my time with him on Monday? Why did he not follow the concepts we had discussed?’

‘He had strong Seek. I am sure of that. Going by his body language and the questions, even Soak was

strong. The slip may have come in Sift and certainly he did not Share. How can I ensure that he learns? Will

need to spend time to think this out over the weekend.’

‘I also need to think about Expectations Swap. It is really a powerful method. I must do it with Tom. And

probably it is time to do it with Betsy as well. Although with Betsy it will be far more than expectations swap

– we will need to understand each other’s needs. Will it be possible to transform our relationship to true

friendship?’

‘I think it is time to transparently share the details of my learnings with Betsy. I must not delay it any

further. She will be excited to know what has pulled our relationship from the brink and where can we take it

from here.’

As he entered the driveway, he saw Betsy talking to their neighbor Anne. They both

enthusiastically waved at him. He stopped the car and joined them.

The weekend had begun.
