“You are right Bet. I feel the same. Now we are somewhere between Wish and Need. Our
strong desire for a healthy relationship and unwillingness to upset the applecart has kept our
wishes in check. But this is not sustainable. We will have to understand the needs that are
driving our wishes. Then only can we look for synergies and understand and align our mutual
needs. It will enhance trust and further strengthen our relationship.”
“I am delighted that we can discuss such a sensitive subject so transparently, openly sharing
our feelings and vulnerabilities. Don’t you think it displays the robustness and maturity of our
relationship Dan. Do we still need to align our expectation needs?”
“Yes Bet. I do. This alignment is essential to add the critical third adjective to our
relationship – long lasting or sustainable. None of us would like to go back to where we were
few weeks back – we need robust, mature and sustainable relationship.”
