Aims & Objectives
"The aim of this project is to enhance current pet adoption
processes and experiences, to improve interactions between
pet adopters and animal organisations, and to increase pet
adoptions throughout Ireland."
Research Objectives Research Questions
Analyse pet adoption trends, statistics, and stakeholders • What are the current statistics and processes?
Assess the legal aspects and processes of pet adoption. • Who are the individuals that seek to adopt a pet?
Understand who is affected, and how. • What motivates/deters individuals to adopt a pet?
Identify the motivations and barriers of pet adoption. • What are the challenges and of pet adoption?
Evaluate what areas of pet adoption need improvement. • What areas of pet adoption need improvement?
