Survey Questions
The survey questions were designed to understand and find key
themes and patterns of social connectedness among parents. It
aimed to capture an overview of a parents experience along with
their demographic. By asking these questions, the goal was to
understand and identify the challenges, resources that are used,
along with a parents overall sense of wellbeing.
Interview Questions
Interviews followed a semi structure format allowing for flexibility,
this was to ensure consistency across participants. The interview
questions were designed to delve deeper into the themes identified
in the survey.
Observation
The researcher immersed themselves by attending parenting
activities. This informal method provided the researcher firsthand
insight into group dynamics, observing how parents interact in
these social settings along with any challenges being faced. This
approach allowed the researcher to validate the survey and
interview findings through real world observations which added a
level of depth to the data.
