The Oh So Classy Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Epsilon Gamma
Omega Chapter came out in massive numbers for our annual
Reclamation & Reactivation event – The Wine & Cheese Gala.
This event was held on Saturday, August 5th from 6:30pm –
9:30pm at the Omega Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
The evening began
with mix & mingle
socializing while
smooth jazz played
in the background as
Sorors trickled into the reception area. The attire for this event
was classy casual to give Sorors a chance to "let their hair down",
unwind and have a
fun-filled evening during the busy summer. Sorors Wilma Ruffin,
Basileus and Tonya Wood, Membership Chairman started the
event with a Welcome and Announcements. The Meditation &
Grace was given by Soror Renee Knight.
The Reclamation and Transfers Subcommittee members worked
very hard in the kitchen to make sure that the food and drinks were
