steadily coming. The dining selections were divine and the
drinks seemed bottomless. The menu included: bbq
meatballs, little smokies, hummus dip, raspberry chipotle
dip, veggie and fruit trays, and a variety of cheeses,
pepperoni, and crackers. The beverages included pink
Moscato (of course), red and white wines, and for those who
did not want alcoholic drinks had pink lemonade, sparkling
cider and water. Dessert was delightful with pink mini
cupcakes and a variety of pastries.

While Sorors were dining, we recognized our “Missing
Pearls” who were invited as guests for this event. There
were over 40 inactive Sorors who attended that were
invited as guests by EGO members. EGO members in
attendance were about 140, and the entire event boasted
180 Sorors. The Membership Committee
recognized four sorors for their outstanding service in the
chapter, and also recognized several Sorors who have
recently joined EGO within the past year.

Numerous door prizes were given out, and over $200
worth of raffle tickets were sold. Two lucky winners were
selected to receive beautiful gift baskets that were provided by Soror Daphne Thurman. Prior to the event,
Sorors were encouraged via email to be sure to bring some
flats, and feel free to kick off those heels and "cut-a-rug" on
the dance floor, and dancing is just what we did! Sorors
LaDonna McCann and Erica Washington led the music and
line dancing and showed us all what we came to do. We
came to PARTY! Fun was had by all until alas, we ran out
of time and had to start the cleanup process. Some Sorors
even danced until we were all packed up and ready to leave
the facility.
