ASCEND

Student success is a shared responsibility. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Ep-
silon Gamma Omega Chapter continues its goal to help students ascend to new
heights with their ASCEND Program. On Saturday, October 21st, students began
their day with an Environmental
Water Certification program on
the campus of Alabama A & M University. The day was conclud-
ed with a HBCU (Historically Black College and University) Fair
and United Nations Informational Booth. ASCEND students from
the Madison AKA Chapter, Rho Chi Omega, joined EGO AS-
CEND students as they explored fourteen HBCUs. Alumni and
college students proudly displayed their colleges and shared their
admission information and personal experiences. The chapter is
extremely
grateful
to our
partici-
pants.
