Prospective Debutante Community Service (con’t.)
On December 5th, eighteen prospective debutantes, six ladies from
the EGO Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, and volun-
teers from The Alabama Kidney Foundation assisted in the distribu-
tion of blankets as Christmas gifts for kidney patients throughout
North Alabama. The Alabama Kidney Foundation serves kidney pa-
tients by providing financial assistance, education and support ser-
vices. The Foundation also provides public education to promote
organ donation awareness and the prevention of kidney disease.
Their vision is to improve prevention awareness and the individual
quality of life of Alabamians affected by kidney disease. This com-
munity service project is the last of the four service projects for our
prospective debutantes completed this year.
