VIRTUAL INAUGURAL WALK

Our Walking Team Committee, led by Sorors Marion Guidry,
Eugena Goggans, and Brenda Morgan-Bunley, challenged EGO Sorors to
participate in fun Inauguration Walk celebrating the historic inauguration of
Soror Kamala Harris as Vice-President of the United States. The Virtual Walk
began in Huntsville, Alabama on Saturday, January 16th and ended on
Wednesday, January 20th at midnight in Washington, D.C. The goal was to
have 150 sorors walk 5,000 steps for five days for a total of 3,696,000. We
didn't meet the goal but did enter 1,922,180 steps and had fun along the way.
Sorors highlighted the official 2021 Inauguration Day with stylish pictures of
"Chucks and Pearls," a fashion trend captured by Soror Kamala Harris.
Congratulations Soror Kamala Harris! "She has the strength of an ivy, the
beauty of a pearl, determination and vision to run the world."
