                  In honor of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter part-
           nered with Gamma Mu to provide Service to All Mankind. We united to serve lunch, play bingo and serve

           dinner to the residents at the 8 Street Community Group Home. The 8  Street Community consists of
                                                                       th
                                                                                      th
           the surrounding properties that fall under the umbrella of 305 8  Street. The 8  Street Community is a
           faith-based, non-profit organization that provides a safe and loving home environment for adults with a
                                                            th
           variety of intellectual disabilities. Like any home, 8  Street Community has a list of needs. Dedicated vol-
           unteers are needed to provide meals and support residential activities for the eight women and 13 men who
                   th
           call the 8  Street Community home.
                  The Gamma Mu Chapter purchased pizza for lunch. Gamma Mu Sorors, Bria Berry, Niaviana Gil-
           lis, Destiny Hathaway, Jade Perry, Jada Pugh, Yohari Salama, and Destiny Taylor served the men in their
           residence while the following Epsilon Gamma Omega Sorors served the women in their respective
           residence: Eugena Goggans, Sharon Gresham, Marian Guidry, Amberley Haygood, Linda Jones, Sibyl
           Moore, Crystal O’Neal, LaToya Sims, Verlene Texas, and DeAnn
           Wilson.
                  After lunch, all the residents gathered in the women’s
           home for a fun game of bingo. Sorors Fierra Brown, Arianna
           Griggs, and Tyla Ramsey of Gamma Mu Chapter called the game
           while EGO Sorors awarded the residents with their favorite prizes
           of quarters and snacks. In addition to providing their favorite bin-
           go prizes, Soror Wilma Ruffin blessed each resident with a cozy
           pair of socks.  In addition to the Gamma Mu Sorors, the following
           EGO Sorors were present: Sorors Harriet Clark, Shirley Clemons,
           Ann Davis, Tonya Davis, Eugena Goggans, Teresa Harris, Kem-
           bela McCrary, Elicia Moss, Anita Muse, Wilma Ruffin, Gwendolyn Williams, Tonya Wood, and Carol
           Woods. Sorors Cheryl R. Davis, Tonya Davis, Katrina Eason, Eugena Goggans, Melissa Jakes, Antoinette
           Turner, and Donna Sams returned to the 8th Street Community to serve a delicious dinner meal of fried
           chicken, biscuits, cream potatoes with gravy, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. All the residents were excited
           to have their favorite meal of fried chicken.
