~ The Truths I Know about Mrs. Bernice Hall Doe ~
She was a faithful wife to Elder Benjamin Doe and a devoted mother.
She was a Proverbs 31:10-31 Woman.
“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies”
She was a precious jewel who shared her lovingkindness, generosity, and wisdom freely with everyone.
“She worketh willingly with her hands”
She rose early to feed her household with homemade biscuits, grits, and sausage (ask how I know).
“She strengtheneth her arms to reach out her hand to feed the poor and the needy”
She was a builder of self-esteem to men, women, boys, girls, the handicapped, the prisoner,
the drug addict, the poor in spirit, and to the students and staff at
Midway Elementary School as well as the Tajiri Arts Family.
“Strength and honor are her clothing”
“She openeth her mouth with wisdom, and in her tongue is the law of kindness”
She encouraged me through many tribulations.
“She looketh well to the ways of her household and eateth not the bread of idleness”
“Her children rise and call her blessed”
As a God-fearing and obedient servant of the Word, she gave her
children ― Rodney, Katrina, Reginald, and Tracy ― spiritual and cultural guidance.
