                                                                      Oh, It’s a Happy Day!
                                                                       She Lived the Word

She Sang and Preached the Word

Now, “Miss Lovely” can truly rejoice
                                                                         For It Is Finished

And “I Wouldn’t Take Nothing for Our Journey Together!”

~ Minister Quinton and Mrs. Joan Faison ~

Minister and Mrs. Faison were a faithful and very giving couple, both spiritually and monetarily. They were willing and able
supporters of Tajiri. Mrs. Joan Faison was a very accommodating chaperone of the Young Performers of Tajiri Arts whenever we had

performances. Minister Faison was frequently onsite to pray with us before the start of our classes and performances, which was the
Tajiri Arts custom. All praises to God for the service, dedication, and commitment of the Faisons.

~ Mr. Willie and Elder Barbara Gainey ~

The entire Gainey family were all faithful Prayer Warriors for Tajiri. They attended every performance in Sanford, Eatonville, and
Orlando to offer prayer and praise to God for our accomplishments. They also fed me and Kamili when we were often out of food

when I first returned home from Miami. In addition, the Gainey's daughters were faithful members of the staff. Jeannie Tucker was

a Tutor and Instructor of Reading and Math. Sally Saunders wrote original songs for productions, was an artist on set designs, a solo
singer, and my fantastic teacher assistant at Rosenwald. In addition, Mrs. Saunders’ daughters, Duwana Amie, Tammy Glover, and

Nicholas Glover, were among the first students to attend classes at Tajiri Arts. Mary Chavers was a Computer Instructor, Brain Bowl

Instructor, Program Designer, and Stage Manager. Her cousin, Sandra Spain, faithfully assisted her at Tajiri.
