~ Pastor Darryl and Mrs. Terry Britton ~

The Brittons were mighty prayer warriors. Mrs. Terry Britton was also the President of our parents’ organization, which was called,

        Parents That Are Participators (PTAPERS).

I will forever thank God for the spiritual undergirding that all of our Prayer Warriors gave us. I am forever grateful!

~ Elder Benjamin and Mrs. Bernice Doe ~

Elder Benjamin and Mrs. Bernice Doe were fervent Prayer Warriors. Mrs. Doe not only prayed for Tajiri Arts, but she daily prayed

for me. Since we saw each other on a daily basis because she was my Teacher Assistant, she got a chance to really know me and learn
        of my needs.

She was really my confidant. She was a quiet and humble person who ruled with an iron fist. She was capable of operating my class

with or without me being present. Her teaching techniques were superb! Her personality was superb! She was an expert at “knowing

when to hold it and when to fold it.” That's why we affectionately called her “Ms. Lovely” at Midway Elementary and Tajiri. The
students in her Building Self-Esteem class increased their self-image and proved to be confident in their God-given gifts.

The entire family participated at Tajiri. Their daughter Katrina was one of the original students gifted in Sign Language and

Contemporary Dance. Their sons Tracey, Reginald, and Rodney sang in the Seminole Boys Glee Club. The Doe family was dedicated,

devoted, and diligent in their contributions to achieve excellence at Tajiri.
