C. Contraindication:

           1.  High blood pressure

           2.  Blood clots

           3.  Blockage or closing off of blood vessels

           4.  Increase of carbon dioxide in the blood

           5.  Decreased oxygen in the tissues or blood

           D. Side effects:

           1.  Pain, burning, irritation, discoloration, or skin changes where the injection was given


           2.  Sudden numbness, weakness, or cold feeling

           3.  Skin blue lips or fingernails (cyanoses), mottled skin;

           4.  Renal little or no urination

           5.  Respiratory: dyspnea, asthma attacks

           6.  CNS: severe headache

           7.  Eye: blurred vision, pounding in your neck or ears.

           8.  Git: nausea, vomiting

           9.  CV: palpitations, hypotension, angina, tachycardia, vasoconstriction


        3. Dobutrex

            A. Main action:

           1.  It's a direct acting inotropic agent  works on stimulation of Beta 1-receptorslead to

           2.  Increase the myocardial contractility

           3.  Increase heart rate

           4.  Increase cardiac out-put.   -Mild β2- and α1-adrenergic receptors,or agonist effects

            B. Indications:



           1.  Decreased contractility due to heart failure

           2.  Congestive heart failure
