PaaS (PlatformasaServise - Platform as a Service) is an IaaS plus operating system with an
application-programming interface.
PaaS technology is suitable for solving problems of automation of production processes.
In this case, in relation to the foundry, the automation scheme will look as shown in Fig. 2.
The composition of the technological process control equipment remains the same.
Sensors and actuators are connected to the PLC under the control of the SCADA visualization
system. The difference is that all equipment is Internet things connected to high-speed Internet
and is controlled by a cloud computing server.

Managers and technologists work with a virtual production model. The technological
process in the shop is initiated by the virtual model after the optimization process. The existence
of a virtual production model is possible with the availability of computing power and total
control of all events in production. Considering that foundry equipment and automation devices
