    Complete information about the state of the object and computing power allow realizing the
    self-optimization mode in control instead of the usual, today, cyclic execution of the loaded
    program.
            Self-optimizing  manufacturing  is  called  SmartFactory.  Intelligent  management  affects
    production processes such as production planning, development of new technologies, logistics,
    enterprise  resource  planning  (ERP), production  management  (MES),  and  management
    technological process (ACS TP). The SmartFactory concept has a big advantage: it significantly
    reduces the number of distributed automation equipment, which makes operation easier and
                                                         reduces maintenance costs.
                                                                 The  organization  of  cloud-based  foundry
                                                                  automation        is   not     yet     ready     for
                                                                  implementation, as there are problems with
                                                                  performance, real-time operation, fast data
                                                                   collection and communication with servers
                                                                    [2]. These problems have been solved in
                                                                    high-budget industries such as banking.
                                                                              The downside of cloud computing
                                                                       is the big vulnerability  of  the  system.
                                                                       Network  data  transmission increases
                                                                       the  risk  of  third-party  interference
                                                                and  requires  adequate  cybersecurity  of  all
                                                               equipment and processes. There are two main
                                                              points:  data  encryption  and  access  control  of
                                                             connection  to  the  Network  [2].  At  the  same
                                                             time,  the  opportunities  offered  by  the  cloud
                                                             computing system cover the losses from possible
                                                            disruptions in the operation of the enterprise.
                                                                  In  the  near  future,  we can  expect the
    introduction of the SaaS service in the part of the CAE software. Calculation of the solidification
    of castings on a PC no longer meets the needs of production. Providing server capacity with
    an application can reduce the cost of calculations and dramatically increase their efficiency.
    Another  direction in the  use  of  cloud technologies is instrumentation.  Determination of  the
    chemical  composition  of  alloys  by  spectral analysis  requires  the  use  of  GSO for  instrument
    calibration. The set of reference materials at the enterprise is, as a rule, limited. X-ray analyzers
    are expensive and expensive in service. The transformation of an optical emission spectrometer
    into an Internet thing allows you to calibrate from the server and determine the entire line of
    industrial alloys.
            The  introduction  of  cyber-physical systems  and  virtualization in the  modern  IT  world
    is becoming a  standard  solution. The  latest control technologies  will  inevitably come  to the
