METALWORKING EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS

direction, the cutting process can satisfy technical stability requirements.
    2. With a significant deviation of the attractor axis from the tangential direction, cutting usually
becomes technically unstable. To expand the range of cutting conditions corresponding to
technical stability, it is necessary to increase the rigidity of the elastic system in all directions,
including the workpiece axis. The control of the appearance of negative attractors can be
carried out using vibrodiagnostic systems of vibration-based diagnostics designed to assess the
    condition of cutting tools.
