PRPC has been making consistent efforts to improve and
strengthen the safety culture within its premises. In line with
this, PRPC in its Naphtha cracker plant has added one more
feather to its cap by installing Ver go Tes ng Facility at Fire
training ground. This facility is inaugurated by Shri. G.C. Sikder,
ED&RH on 13.11.2020 in the presence of CGMs and other
senior officials of the PRPC complex. Ver go tes ng facility will
check the work at height fitness or acrophobia of the contract
workers and will ensure that only fit workers are allowed to do
such challenging jobs.

Installing Safety Training Kiosk Facility at PR & PNC at Gate
no. 1 of .This facility is inaugurated by Shri. G.C. Sikder,
ED&RH on 13.11.2020 in the presence of CGMs and other
senior officials of the PRPC complex PR & PNC .Safety Kiosk
is useful for impar ng safety training to the visitors, contract
workers and drivers, followed by assessment before issuing
gate passes.

The system developed by in-house technocrats of IS and F&S
department enables 24x7 speed limit compliance for vehicle
plying in the ba ery area of PRPC. The system will automa cally
detect all the vehicles exceeding set speed limit with the help
of speed guns actuated through Radar System and Op cal
character reader installed at various loca ons of PR & PNC. As
soon as the viola on comes in the system; a er due verifica on
by F&S, auto-generated alerts via email sent to concerned
vehicle owner/controlling office with a copy to his GM in case
of employees and Engineering-In-Charge; in case of contract
vehicles with a copy to F&S, HR, Security and finance for the
warning, penalty and suspension of gate pass based on the
instance of viola on/re-occurrence.
