Chapter 3: Help From The Past
Two months' fee from my A1 for the period June and July was
still left. In the first week of my second year, I was stopped at
the school gate and was not allowed to enter since I was in
debt. Without saying much I exited the gate and stood at the
bus stop waiting for it to come in another 20 minutes. I didn’t
know what to do, I wanted to call my brother but then I knew
it was 9am and he was sleeping. Finally, I left for my house.
That bus had the same conductor who was surprised to see
me but I told him that I forgot something at home. Anyways, I
came back, opened the door with the spare key I had and
quietly laid in my bed. After a while, my brother and mom
woke up and upon asking I told them the story in a casual
manner. They were shocked not only that I was not allowed to
enter the school but to see me coming back without raising a
voice. At that point, a moment from my past ignited a new
fury in me and I had planned to go back and talk to the
