V 1.1 February 2024

appear in my migrated content simply as pages. If you remember u3a Site
Builder and WordPress don’t support sub-pages but they do support parent-
child page relationships. I can keep these sub-pages as children so they can be
accessed from the main page or I can make them linked pages or I can change
               them completely.

The 2022 summary would be much more useful and easier to read if that
information became a Post. The GL is already writing the 2023 Summary so that
it will become a Post. This will enable more photos of those events and activities
to be shared either in a gallery or by using a Gutenslider as Site Builder was quite
               limiting in this respect.

The events and activities outlooked over the coming months on the sub-page
can become individual Events pages. Again, Site Builder Events content was
limiting with little more than a title but now a more detailed description can be
               added and even some media.

Once these new Events and Posts* pages have been created (much of it copy
and paste) I can delete the sub-pages as they will no longer be needed.

               * Note that you might be able to share the workload both now and in the future. I
have several Group Leaders (GLs) who have been put off by Site Builder coding
and limitations. Recently I have shared a SiteWorks demo plus the concepts of
Events in advance of an activity and Posts reporting on an activity and there is
much interest. At the time of writing I have four GLs writing extra material for
their group pages for me and also gathering additional media. Initially I shall set
these up on site for them so that they can see the finished result but as soon as
possible after migration I intend to cascade the knowledge that they will need to
replicate what I have done for the future.

With Site Builder I have usually had to create a Word document with text and
graphics for event details, save it as a PDF, then upload it and link it to the
required page. In future such informative Events and Posts can be keyed directly
into an Events or Posts page with no intermediary software. This is so much
easier and faster than Site Builder with the added bonus that GLs are likely to get
               involved.
