V 1.1 February 2024
You can choose any
of your pages from
the left-hand menu
and the
corresponding page
will appear on the
right so it’s a bit
faster than having
to go back to the
Dashboard or back
to Site view to
choose a page to
edit.
As soon as you click into any text on the page the left-hand Dashboard-type
menu collapses and the page and block editor panel appears on the right once
you have clicked on the settings icon and brought up the block editing panel as
seen below.
You can then continue to edit as normal in the same way that you can do in Site
view or from the Dashboard.
Quick Edit
One of the things you can only do from the Dashboard is access Quick edit that
was mentioned earlier. Return to Dashboard > Pages > Welcome and this time
choose the Quick Edit option. You will see the menu below. This shows you the
page name plus date and time the page was created and the role of the author.
In this example you can see it was Admin but if you click on the arrow you will
see that other options are fred and the name of the person you added as a User
earlier. You can select either person to replace the Admin and that person will
have the access rights to that page that you have assigned to them.
