Script

Writing

In Term I, we studied this book called Charlotte’s
Web. This script is a short conversation between Dr
Dorian and Mrs Arable when Mrs. Arable thought
that something was wrong with her daughter Fern.
So, she went to consult with Dr. Dorian.

Dr. Dorian- “Good Morning, Mrs Arable is everything okay?”
Mrs. Arable- “No! Nothing is okay”.

Dr. Dorian- “Are Fern and Avery fine?”
Mrs Arable- “Avery is fine of course. He carries frog, toads, snakes and
other insects in the pocket. But Fern, she is not fine.”
Dr. Dorian- “What happened to her? Is she feeling well?”

Mrs.Arable- “She is not really sick, but there is something wrong with
her?”
Dr. Dorian- “What?”
Mrs. Arable- “It’s her summer holidays but she does not play with any-

one, instead she spends half of her day in the Zukermen’s barn to
see her runty pig Wilbur.”
Dr. Dorian- “Okay.”
Mrs. Arable- “ He is not runty but he was born a runt”.

Mrs Arable- I am really worried about Fern.She acts so different she sits
in the corner of the barn and acts like as if animals could talk.”
Dr. Dorain- “Children listen carefully than adults. Well if Fern says, then
I suppose they do.”

Mrs Arable- “Fern also shares the stories that she claims the animal told
her.”
Dr. Dorain- “Does Fern know any boys?”
Mrs. Arable- “Yes, she knows Henry Fussy”.

Dr. Dorain- “You got the answer”.
Mrs. Arable- “Good bye Dr. Dorian”
