Kale the dog

                    Hello everyone, today I am
going to tell you how I overcame my
fear of dogs. Well, it all started when
I was eight years old. Back then I was
            terrified of dogs.
One evening, while I was going
home from school. On the way home I
saw a strong, hungry, and giant dog. It
was black with white spots. It barked

            very loudly at me.

I was so scared of the dog that my mom had to carry me
home. My father didn't like me being scared of dogs. Hmmm… “I shall
teach her a lesson”, he thought.
And guess what? My father took me to my grandmother's house, but
I was shocked to see a dog there. “Where did this dog come from?” I
asked my grandmother. “It’s my pet,” she said.
The dog was a 3-year-old pug which was white with brown spots.
His name was Kalle. My grandmother knew that I was scared of
dogs so she told me to give him his food every day and play with

him. He used to eat food that was shaped round like chocos and was
stinky. It tasted like rotten chocos as I accidentally tasted it. I started
giving food and spending time with him and became good friends. I
            even taught him tricks.
One evening, I realized that I wasn’t scared of dogs anymore.
I was very glad that I overcame my fear. I also started getting along
            with other dogs too.
Finally, I had to leave him and come back home. I was really
sad to leave him but I had to as my school was going to open.

One day my mom got a call from my grandmother saying Kalle died.
            I was heartbroken. I couldn’t stop crying. “I can’t go to school,” I
said. But my mom convinced me. I tried to control myself and went to
school. Now I have learned that if we treat the animals well they will
            never harm us.
