DISC GOLF AT SILVER BIRCH
On April 1st, Silver Birch Golf Club in Betws yn Rhos near Abergele opened a new championship level 18-hole disc golf course – the first to be created on a full golf course in North Wales.
Disc Golf is a fast growing sport that follows similar rules to golf. The player throws a disc across the course towards a
basket. The aim of the game is to secure the disc in the net in the lowest amount of pars.
Richard Hatton from Disc Golf UK: “Disc Golf UK are delighted to see a championship level course installed at Silver Birch. This is the first of its standard in North Wales and will bring players in from all over the country and beyond to play the fastest growing sport in the world at this beautiful course.
