Going to the Movies

It was very dark and then suddenly, there
was light. I was born. I was now the youngest
in the family. It has been that way even up until
now. I grew up in a home with two bedrooms,
but there were six people living there,
sometimes even seven. Like most people, I
wasn't very rich growing up, but at least I had a
home. I never had my own room, and I still
don't have my own room. I used to share a room with my sisters, sleeping in the corner on a
couch that turned into a bed. That was the only time I ever spent time in that room, just sleeping
there. When I was out of bed, I was usually outside playing with my friends. All my friends
were always older than me. When they were teenagers I was still in elementary school, but I still
hung out with them. I was always outside, very strong, and fit. If I still worked out as much as I
did before, I would be breaking world records or something(lies). Life was pretty bright for me.
I never had any screens or phones like everyone else did, and I still don't really use my phone.
People are surprised when they see me on the phone at school.
On a bright morning, I opened my eyes, struggling while being blinded by the rays of
sunshine from the living room window right next to me. I got up and realized it was Saturday!
Although it was Saturday, it didn't really matter. I never did anything interesting on the
weekends and I still don't, but it was in the summertime. I woke up with this mindset expecting
