Allan’s Big Day
By J. Anunar
It was the day of the tournament. It was 6 am. Allan woke from his sleep and got out of
bed. He got ready for the day and went to his dad. He asked his dad to help train him for a bit
and warm up before the game. They did some dynamic warm-ups. They did some forward
jogging. Then they did some running, followed by more warm-ups. After that Allan and his dad
went to the tournament to meet up with Allan’s teammates. Allan left his dad and ran to his team.
When he got there, they were all warming up for the game. After the warm up, they got
hyped up and yelled out their motto. Then the game started. They played and made their way to
the finals. It came down to the last game. It was 6th graders vs 6th and 8th graders. The game
wasn’t fair for Allan because the 8th graders were way bigger then Allan and his teammates. But
Allan and his team weren’t gonna let a bunch of older, bigger kids scare them off. And so the
game started. Allan and his team were trying their hardest to not let the other team score on
them, but they did. The score was 1-0. By the 2nd quarter, Allan and his team were drained, but
they didn’t let this one point stop them. The team came back and scored in the 3rd quarter.
The score was now tied 1-1. The quarter ended in a tie. It was the last quarter. Both teams
were ready for the game of their lives. Allan and his opponents were playing hard. The
opponents had the ball and were about to shoot a score. Someone on the opposing team made a
shot but the goalkeeper blocked it. The ball was now in Allan’s possession. He kicked the ball to
his teammate and his teammate ran with the ball. The teammate kicked the ball back to Allan and
Allen kicked the ball with all his might. The goalkeeper couldn’t stop it. Now the score was 1-2.
Allan’s teammates were cheering on Allan for the shot.
