88 The Unforgettable Moments in Life
My day in Mexico

I grew up in Mexico, a country that is best known for its traditions and food which is
really delicious, especially tacos.
Mexico is the best country where you
can try and taste tacos. Mexico is a
country with a lot of beautiful places to
visit and the people are very friendly.
Where I really grew up is at Irapuato
Guanajuato which is best known as La
capital mundial de las fresas which in
English means “the strawberry capital of the world”.
I remember living there with my mom and my brother. Every morning I woke up to go to
school, my mom fixed my hair, and she always created a different hairstyle just for school. I put
on my uniform which was a dark blue skirt, a white shirt, a red sweater, dark blue or white tights
that were optional and black shoes. I used to wear that uniform when it was a formal day, a day
when I didn't have physical education. When I had physical education, I used to wear red and
blue sweatpants, a jacket that was the same color, and white tennis shoes.
My mom always gave me milk and cereal for breakfast before going to school. The
cereal Nesquick was my favorite one when I was little. My mom always walked me to school
which was very close to my house. It was about one or two minutes away. I left school at 1:15
pm and walked home alone. Sometimes my mom waited for me at the door of the house and I
