Tips for event volunteering

• Respect other people

• Be considerate of how you respond to questions

• Be considerate of how you handle situations

• Use good communication skills

• Be enthusiastic

• Make sure visitors are enjoying themselves
• Follow Health and Safety procedures

• Make sure you attend briefing sessions and debriefing sessions

• Make sure you wear all relevant uniforms and name badges at all times

• Wear sensible/comfortable shoes and practical clothing

• Work within the boundaries of your role and the code of conduct

• If you are unsure of anything speak to your Team Leader
