First Aid and Emergencies

Every event that you volunteer at will have

nominated first aiders and a medical emergency

area or procedure.

You will be made aware of these in your briefing
session

Always inform your Team Leader or designated
person of medical issues and emergencies

Children

You may encounter a lost child; you will be informed of the
procedure for dealing with this at your briefing session.
• Under no circumstances should you put yourself in a
situation where you are alone with a child
• If you find a lost child, notify and report to the designated
responsible person in your team and notify your Team

Leader or designated person
• Lost children should be kept under adult supervision until
assistance arrives

Signage Including Disabled Access

You will be provided with information about disabled access,

seating area, toilets. It is important that you are able to give

peoples access information

If in doubt contact your team leader or dedicated person
