Covid – 19 and Safety Whilst Event Volunteering
Hands
Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or use hand sanitiser
regularly to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
Face
Face coverings reduce the risk of dispersion from respiratory droplets which travel
in the air, meaning if you carry the virus
you are less likely to spread it.
Space
Transmission of the virus is most likely to happen within
2 metres. Keep distance where at all possible.

You will be provided with PPE to carry out
your volunteering roles. You may also wear
your own face mask if it is more comfortable
for you.
When wearing PPE please ensure that it is
worn correctly covering your nose and mouth
at all times.
People attending could be vulnerable to
catching coronavirus – protect yourself and
others at all times.
Remember to wash your hands
regularly and use hand sanitiser
provided.
