Carroll County Athletic Conference
The Carroll County Athletic Conference was formed in 1913 by teams from Carroll County. The conference
will operate through the 1960-61 school year. The members schools will also take part in the Carroll County
Tournament through the 1960-61 season. The Carroll County Tournament rotated between Delphi & Flora as host
sites.
Carroll County Athletic Conference Timeline
1913: The Carroll County Athletic Conference is formed.
Membership: Adams Twp., Bringhurst, Burlington, Burrows, Camden, Carrollton Twp., Cutler,
Deer Creek, Delphi, Flora, Rockfield
1927: Bringhurst will consolidate into the existing Flora H.S.
1947: Delphi & Flora leave the CCAC to join the Hoosier Conference.
1951: Rockfield consolidates into the existing Camden H.S.
1955: Camden leaves the CCAC to join the Midwest Conference. Carrollton Twp. closes to consolidate into the
existing Burlington H.S.
1957: Burrows closes & consolidates into the existing Deer Creek H.S.
1958: Cutler consolidates into Burlington & Deer Creek consolidates into Flora.
1961: Burlington & Flora consolidate to form Carroll. Adams Twp. leaves the CCAC to join the White County
Conference.
Central Indiana Conference
The Central Indiana Conference was formed in 1933 by schools in northern & northeastern Indiana.
Central Indiana Conference Timeline
1932: The Central Indiana Conference is formed.
Membership: Alexandria, Elwood, Huntington, Noblesville, Peru, Rochester, Tipton, Wabash,
Windfall
1933: Warsaw joins the CIC.
1935: Plymouth joins the CIC.
1936: Windfall withdrawals from the CIC.
1938: Muncie Burris joins the CIC.
1939: Noblesville leaves the CIC.
1945: Warsaw drops out of the CIC, while Hartford City, Monticello, & Fort Wayne South Side join the CIC.
1947: FW South Side withdrawals from the CIC.
1953: Warsaw re-joins the CIC.
1963: Rochester, Plymouth, & Warsaw leave the CIC. Monticello consolidates into Twin Lakes.
1966: Huntington is part of the consolidation of all Huntington county schools to form Huntington North.
1968: Hartford City closes as part of the consolidation that forms Blackford. Blackford joins the CIC.
1969: Madison-Grant is formed & joins the CIC.
1974: Huntington North leaves the CIC.
1979: Muncie Burris drops out of the CIC & Mississinewa joins the CIC.
1998: Peru & Tipton leave the CIC. Eastbrook & Frankton join the CIC.
2006: Wabash exits the CIC, while Oak Hill joins the CIC.

Mississinewa, Oak Hill
